ALEXANDRA COCKRELL

Hey there, I'm Alexandra (she/her/hers)!
I'm a New York-based actor and director who trained at
The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Williamstown Theatre Festival, and Interlochen Center for the Arts.
Raised by two classical musicians, I was surrounded by the arts at a young age.
My first experience onstage was at the age of four when I was in the opera Madama Butterfly but it wasn't till I was seven, when I was first shown Kenneth Branagh's Much Ado About Nothing and Milos Foreman's Amadeus, that I knew I wanted to pursue acting professionally. I mean come one, who wouldn't want to be an actor after seeing Emma Thompson and F. Murray Abraham in all of their glory?!
When I'm not performing I can be found hiking, playing the piano, trying to recreate bakes seen on The Great British Baking Show, cheering on the kids I babysit at fencing tournaments and playing Dungeons and Dragons with my weekly game night group.
